HP has released server patch A.07.13, for OVO/Unix 7.1, which fixes numerous annoying problems, including one particularly annoying opcforwm problem that caused the forward manager queue to go insane.

News from C3 - Rumors from the HP Channel Partner conference, which took place just recently, are bad news for small channel partners like My Company (page still under construction).  The report is that HP will increase the number of certified consultants required to become channel partner.   This appears, from my pespective, to be another move punishing small channel partners, and helping larger channel partners.   The number of certs, minimum, will be either 3 or 4, I'm not sure which yet.   I will be fine, but some of my fellow smaller channel partners may have problems.  Since it's rumored that HP plays fast and loose with these rules for their Executive and Platinum partners, this is particularly upsetting.

HP Openview Service Desk 4.5, Service Pack 2 was released this morning.  Even though it's called a Service Pack, it appears to fix only one know problem -- Role authorization on "When Assigned to user's workgroup" results in no access.
